Nestling on the Adriatic coast, Montenegro is south of Croatia and
opposite the 'heel' of Italy. It is a comparatively small country, which
is as yet, is relatively undiscovered.
Montenegro offers a wealth of stunning
scenery, history and culture. The name Montenegro or Crna Gora,
literally translates as Black Mountain, an apt description for this
beautiful, mountainous country, although down by the coast the mountains
take on a persona of their own.
The Mediterranean climate encourages a relatively slow pace of life and
holiday makers will find it easy to slip into the "Mediterranean way of
life" for a truly relaxing break. If the clear blue waters do not entice
you on to the beaches, other activities abound. With numerous
historical and cultural sites and four national parks, you are never

white-water rafting, climbing, and paragliding, whilst skiing is
available in the winter months.
